Hey Sam, thanks for the kind words!

I suppose a good place to start there would be, do you think your life would benefit from an organisation tool that doesn’t rely on a screen?

I mentioned in the article that I use mine for things like a habit, mood and sleep tracker, daily to-do’s, I’m now also learning Swedish so I’m trying to write in it using Swedish to hit two things at once!

In that sense, it simply becomes a planner, what turns it into a journal I think are observations I make that can be extrapolated from the data I record and use that to adjust my life if needed. For example, I notice that my mood spikes higher when I complete more of my daily habits than if I have a day where I’m not as productive, so I know that keeping daily habits is important for my overall mood.

At the end of the day though, it’s about finding what works for you! If it doesn’t actually help you in any way when you do try it, there’s no shame in that! It means you’ve narrowed down your ideal system of getting by, which is a good thing I’d say.

I’ve also been offered a new job since I wrote this, so thanks for that too!
