I used Bear as my primary note taker and digital journal through my entire Masters Degree. Mainly for the tagging system you’ve also pointed out. I loved it, but for some reason I wouldn’t use it for actual document writing. I feel like it doesn’t lend itself well to that purpose. I will check out Ulysses for sure though.
