It is pretty hard! That’s because we’re almost wired into tech (pun intended). Some extra advice I would give if you wanted to give the challenge another go would be to put as much friction between you and tech as you can.

One example a father gave in the book was that he decided to buy a ‘brick’ phone (non-smartphone) to set an example for his kids — which was especially hard because his work relied on it.

You know what they say, out of sight, out of mind.
