Thanks, Bill! It is quite interesting isn’t it! Just like you said, how having more foundational background knowledge on a subject can be more useful than having specific knowledge about something.

I also seem to remember reading about how college students weren’t able to work effectively in some science fields because they weren’t dealing with problems that they had studied for. Along those lines anyway. Whereas if they had more background foundational knowledge it would help them more.
