This was an amazing story and perspective on the current crisis the world is facing. It’s true, in the U.K at least, that the death toll figures they quote on the news are only patients that have died in hospital. They hadn’t considered the elderly who were dying in care homes, or those dying at home, they’re only just starting to talk about the effects of cancelling cancer treatments and the deaths that are going to arise from that. And they sure as hell don’t seem to care about prisoners either who are, after all, humans too.
